Book: 100 Ways To Save Tax in Malaysia
Author: Richard Thornton

Price at MPH: RM70.00
I was looking for a book to help me to get some tax relieve from the Malaysian Goverment, and I pop into the local MPH looking for one. Manage to found this book, and fliped thorugh it, seams to have some interesting information and calculations in it, and quickly grab it as I was rushing for time.
To my dissapointment, the book touches just on the surface of Tax accounting. The book only provide the general knowlege information that could also be obtain from IRB for free. Some of the suggestions are such as gifts, books, medical claims, etc. All these I have known filing my previous year's tax. There is nothing interesting from this book, and nothing that is useful at all.
For those who are filing their tax for the first time this year, this may help a little, but nothing that you would not know from the information provided by IRB for you to do your own tax calculations.
The book however, did give some good tips on filing tax with a spouse, how to file for investment income, oversea income, and some ideas for people in business. Of which these are not applicable to me, and that's why I did not find this book's worth. Some may.
Do not recomend this book to anyone, too high of a price to pay for free information. graceshu # 5:21 PM
