I believe that books are divided into the ones that change your perception toward life, love and everything else in between and the ones that are just a passing thought. Nothing monumental, so much so that when you read it, you do not pause to think about how much it means to you.
I took 5 days to read Shantaram, and I could not put it down (that is also a GOOD sign). It is real life events of Gregory David Roberts, an escaped convict from one of Australia's maximum security prisons. He escapes prison in broad daylight and in that instant becomes one of Australia's most wanted men.
