Finally, i finished reading another one's of John Grisham. But this is not just another one of his. "Bleachers" is not the usual stories spurned by John Grisham. Those courtroom dramas that had always been the backbone of every of his books.
"Bleachers" is all about football. And most of the stories were told on the bleachers (that explained the title of the book).
The boys of Messina Spartans had once again come together after fifteen years. But this time, not to win any of their games but to wait for the death of the coach, Eddie Rake with whom they had a love-hate relationships. Each of the players had their story to tell. Especially Neely Crenshaw, the best quarterback on the team. On the bleachers, they await for the news of the passing of Eddie Rake.
Go get this book. The story might not be that fast-paced as his books has always been. Nevertheless, it's interesting to read this side of John Grisham.
By the way, just a note to John Grisham's avid readers. His latest "The Last Juror" will be out pretty soon (February 3rd). Be sure not to miss it! kiezamy # 1:01 AM
